Can you get enough with self-improvement?!

July 13, 2009 by

No matter who you are or what your downfalls may be, everyone could use a bit of self improvement in one or more areas of their lives. We will not waste too much time, let’s get started on the tips!

Given below are a list of helpful self improvement tips anyone can do to bring more quality to their daily living:

1. Smile often. Smiling gives the muscles in the rest of your body a chance to relax, making it a natural stress reliever. When you are in the grocery store, or another place amongst people, you should practice smiling even more. It will break up tension and create good feelings that will become contagious.

2. Create a daily to-do list. Simply create a realistic schedule that you know you can stick to. Create your list before you go to bed at night.

3. Everyone on the face of the earth needs to practice participating in some form of daily physical activity, no matter how crammed their schedule may be. Exercising helps to create good health, which should be a priority. Without good health, everything else in life will go downhill.

4. Create a list of good things in your life. This list will help you to realize that life really isn’t all that bad.

5. Pretend to be happy, even when you are not. Learning to accept things the way they will create peace of mind.

6. Maintain a balanced diet. Within those meals you should include a portion of protein, a few vegetables, some grains, and a couple fruits. Avoid too much sugar and alcohol, which can lead to weight gain and other health problems.

There you have it, if you were wondering how to improve your personality, start with the above 6 tips and you will be ready to start!

My daily to do list seems to get longer before it gets shorter!

Pushing the daily to-do list aside to seek Jesus and His Word, and looking for delight, are two very connected concepts. Yet, after 43 years of a relationship with Jesus I am amazed that I still need reminders. Thanks for the reminder and for sharing your delightful discoveries!
