You Credit Score / How It’s Impacted

February 19, 2010 by

To many, the concept of their credit score is something that shrouded in mystery. Essentially, it is simply a numer that ascertains your credit trustworthiness. The higher the number of your score, the more credit worthy you are.

If you are a consumer in the American economy, this is something that you need to know. It doesn’t matter whether you have or don’t have a credit card. To a major extent, your credit score will determine the life style that you lead.

For one thing, it is the determining factor as to whether or not you get that loan. And if you manage to get a loan, it has a major impact on the amount of interest that you will pay. Your credit score will ascertain whether you are offered special credit card deals such as the 0 apr cards, bonus miles, rewards program, and so on. And it determines whether you will be able to buy a home or if you will be forced to rent.

So, being that this score is evidently so important, what is it exactly that determines your credit score?

A number of factors go into determining one’s credit score. Probably, first among them is your payment history. A late payment on your bill will drive your credit score down. The later your payment is, the further down your credit score drops. More than one late payment will drive the score down even further. To be safe, if you don’t want your credit score to go down, make your payments on time.

If you have a high debt to balance ratio, this will also drive your credit score down. That is, the closer you are to the maximum limit on your cards, the lower your credit score will tend to be.

Lastly, how long have you had credit? Or, more precisely, how long have you been in their database? A teenager, or a person who tends to purchase everything with cash, will most likely have a lower score than someone in their sixties who has had credit since they were in their twenties.

    Yes maciverlisa,

Like I said, I am sure she has her faults. We all do. But most Americans lack a strong understanding of what a positive, healthy life style is. They need a strong understanding of what a healthy life style is. If only so they have that knowledge to fall back on if they start to get sick from living an unhealthy life style.

The #1 CAUSE of illness in America (both physical, and emotional, mental illness) is an unhealthy life style. Or unhealthy life style habits. And I am just as guilty of this as everyone else. From time to time. I have to really work at getting back to healthy habits.

The two main things that have always impressed me about Britney over the years is her tremendous talent. And how sensible, sharp, and bright she seems to be. I think the waters run very deep in her. And she will have to learn how to manage that gift in a healthy positive way.

It's a very powerful gift. And can be very damaging to her, and to others if she doesn't learn how to handle this gift in a healthy, positive way.

Unfortunately people in the modern medical, psychiatric, and psychological world don't recognize people like Britney as gifted. They see her giftedness as a disease in need of so-called treatment. Usually with very powerful, dangerous, and highly toxic psych meds. Meds that end up destroying their physical, and mental health, as well as their gifts. This is WRONG!

If Einstein, Mozart, or Bach were alive today they would be in so-called treatment with psych meds. And they would have my man Beethoven locked up. And they, nor we would be enjoying their gifts. :-(
